CATCH #sheboss Malabar Baby Hong Kong

✨ ANJALI Harjani ✨

Anj started the business in Hong Kong 1.5 years ago when she left her finance job in the US to focus more on eco-friendly, organic baby products, swaddles and natural bedding for her beautiful son Aryan, and hasn't looked back since.

We love that all her products are block-printed and so environmentally conscious; the perfect luxury item for new borns, young children and even everyone in the family.

Sheboss Siobhan - The Neon Life Society.png

✨ SIOBHAN Barnes ✨
▫️Formerly in Commercial & Corporate Real Estate
▫️Founder of The Neon Life Society, and
▫️Mummy to Jack, Ella & Cooper

Siobhan dedicates her work to supporting visionaries and guides them to create meaningful careers and businesses.

In her prior life, Siobhan worked in commercial and corporate real estate and achieved early career success having supposedly landed her "dream job" at an Investment Bank. However, despite achieving her goals, she felt very unfulfilled.

Thus began her journey to start The Neon Life Society in helping corporate women find themselves and create inner fulfilment first and outward success second by leaning their ladder against the right wall and playing to their natural soul gifts and talents

CATCH #sheboss The Outsourced Kitchen Hong Kong

✨ MAAYAN Schwartz ✨
▫️Formerly in International Taxation roles at PWC
▫️Founder and Author of Your Outsourced Kitchen, and
▫️Mummy to Eitan, Lavie & Ari

We absolutely needed to showcase our home chef and author Maayan Schwartz! As a CATCH #bossmum, Maayan authored the book Your Outsourced Kitchen, one of the few English/Tagalog nutritional, western cookbooks for you and your family. Passionate about cooking, Maayan realised that there was a gap in the cookbook department to illustrate delicious, healthy and recipes for the more sophisticated palate to our trusted helpers at home.

Her recipes include a fusion of western, Asian fusion, middle eastern and contemporary cuisine and several recipes in the collection have even been contributed by some of Hong Kong's leading chefs and nutrition experts including The Sesame Kitchen, Grass Roots Pantry, Bombay Dreams, Jinjuu, Genie Juicery, Love True Food, The Flexible Chef, Elle Kealy and more.

Spoiler alert: our favourite recipe from her book is the Sole 🐟 with Mint and Pineapple tangy, fresh.... so perfect for the summer!

When not cooking or writing, she can be found working with hiking Hong Kong’s trails, taking care of her three young boys, and working with local community organisations on charity projects!

CATCH #sheboss Little Bean's Toy Chest Hong Kong

✨ Hai-Anh Vu ✨
▫️ Formerly Sr Manager at Ogilvy PR Vietnam
▫️ Founder of Little Bean's Toy Chest, and
▫️ Mummy to Natalie & Leah

This week's CATCH #supermum is in the business of every child's favourite item: toys! What makes Little Bean's Toy Chest so special are that every toy is handmade from safe, organic materials - and of course, plastic free and eco-friendly.

Hai-Anh, mum of two girls, left her world of PR at OGILVY Vietnam to start the toy company that she was passionate about. She wants to create a toy brand that reflects her parenting philosophy: inspiring unstructured play, celebrating creativity and imagination, avoiding gender stereotypes.

From wooden blocks to pretend-play sets to handmade toy books, her shop has something cute and unique for a wide range of ages. Started as a hobby, Hai-Anh has developed content for her fabric toy books which have been very well received. The interactive book "I LOVE Hong Kong"  is wildly popular as a must-have Hong Kong-themed gift for young children, as is her "I'm a big sister/brother" pretend-play book which is specially dedicated to a new sibling.

All the books in her collection can be personalised with the children's name on the cover, making them extra sweet gifts for your little ones.

CATCH Sheboss Mama Helen KBEN & HOL

✨ HELENE Ang ✨
▫️ Former APAC Senior Marketing Manager at AmEx.
▫️ Founder of KBEN & HOL
▫️ Mummy to Daria and Romy

Sustainable, Ethical, Empowering Women … everything that our next CATCH #SHEBOSS and her brand stand for!

After working for many years in corporate marketing and having 2 kids, Helene wanted to create a work environment that allowed flexibility to be around her kids and fulfilled her passion for artisanal textiles and handcrafted goods.

Her brand KBEN & HOL was inspired by her Cambodian roots, extensive travels and admiration of unique textiles and interiors.

Kben - a traditional dress was paired with a Hol – a unique resist-dying technique used in Cambodian textiles. From there, KBEN & HOL was born.

Helene is passionate about reviving the highly skilled art of traditional weaving in Cambodia, bringing the technique and artistry of this community from remote villages to the world. A close collaboration with female artisans and partners in Cambodia and Asia, ensures that each piece maintains an ethical and sustainable touch while empowering these hardworking women to further develop their skills.

▫️ Former Costume Designer at Salzburg Festivals.
▫️ Former Design Lecturer at HKDI & SCAD.
▫️ Founder & Designer of niin
▫️ Mummy to Kai

Our next CATCH #supermum Jeanine not only designs gorgeous jewellery, but all her items are eco-friendly too. Double win! niin designs provide a refreshingly modern aesthetic to traditional concepts behind eco-jewellery.

niin’s organic approach to design stems from Jeanine’s passion to preserve, share, and celebrate nature and all it’s beauty!

Working with ethically and sustainably sourced materials wherever possible, the natural elements are all unique, offering the opportunity to take home a one-off collector's item, as no two pieces are ever exactly the same.

Jeanine and her team strive to be a green business and spread a message of treading lightly on the earth. For example, the brand uses off-cuts from one of Asia’s high-end furniture factories, then up-cycles these factory seconds into their designs, ensuring as little as possible goes to waste. We especially love that niin supports small businesses and communities in South East Asia.

Prior to founding niin, Jeanine worked in fashion in London and costume designing at the Salzburg Festivals and Vienna Burgtheater!

Rosanne started Central Smile one year ago, and the dental clinic is what Hong Kong has been missing - it’s warm, professional and family focused. They even have a playroom on site!

When Rosanne isn’t busy co-running the clinic with her husband Derek Baram, a top orthodontist in HK, she enjoys time with her two sons Dylan and Daniel, travelling and singing.

CATCH #sheboss Mama Cheline Little Days Hong Kong

✨ Cheline Yau✨
▫️ Former Creative Director Event Marketing at Omnicom NYC
▫️ Co-Founder of Little Days Shop
▫️ Founder of Cheline Cakes
▫️ Mummy to Raya, Juno & Euan

This week’s lady is more than special: Cheline is one of two founders of Little Days Shop . The two mums were looking for more memorable, unique and useful gifts for their friends and family.

How? She and her business partner design personalised blankets, milestone boards, keepsake boxes , and unique gifts for your loved ones - we adore them and think you will too, mama!

What’s more to love? They care about sustainability, and the company is working towards a plastic-free future by eliminating all single-use acrylic designs from their product line.

Since moving back to Hong Kong and leaving her role at Omnicom in 2007, Cheline started her own graphic design company as well as a cake baking business - check out Cheline Cakes. Cheline’s not looked back since and we thank her for it!

CATCH #sheboss Mumma - Vicki Chuard Petit Tippi Hong Kong

✨Vicki Chuard ✨
▫️ Works In Finance by day, and
▫️ Founder of Petit Tippi by night
▫️ Mum to Louis and Olivia.

Vicki Chuard does not wear a cape, but she certainly is a super mum! Working in finance by day, Vicki's true passion is her business Petit Tippi, a curator of the best designed products for mums and their little ones, to give them the most natural and eco-friendly start to life. Their product range are mostly chemical free, and ethical brands that aim to minimise waste.

When Vicki was pregnant with her first, she wanted to cloth diaper and buy products that were beautiful, functional and more natural, rather than the plastic-heavy options readily available in Hong Kong. She found it hard to source outside the big box brands, while a lot of the amazing products were made by family-run start ups don’t get the opportunity to be seen.

So, she started Petit Tippi with the goal to source these products for herself and other like-minded moms. Thats when her journey into researching for healthier, safer and more eco-friendly options for raising children began and the company's product offering has blossomed from there.
